Congratulations on the newest addition to your family. It's finally been eight weeks and they're ready for new exciting adventures! Bringing a new puppy into your home is a wonderful experience and as you probably already know will change your life for the better. Bil-Jac Large Breed Puppy Food
Dogs are carnivores and they thrive on a fresh meat protein diet. Some key ingredients are: Chicken, Chicken By-Products (organs only, source of arginine), Corn Meal, Chicken By-Product Meal, Dried Beet Pulp, Brewers Dried Yeast, Oatmeal and Flaxseed. No fillers, no gluten meals, and no sprayed on rendered fat. 20lbs of FRESH chicken is used to make a 30lb bag. Now doesn't that sound delicious and super healthy for your new puppy? Bil-Jac recommends to feed your little one 3 times daily, once puppies have been weaned. We feed our dogs twice a day.
You can find Bil-Jac at many pet dealers such as Petsmart, and Petco. It is typically not available in grocery stores or Walmart.

Rachael Ray Nutrish dog food
Alright, there's something about this dog food and I can't put my finger on it. My German Shepherds woof it down at every meal! Duke, our alpha male has become quite a pig around here. He shoves the others out of the way for more! We have gone through many different brands of dog food. You name it, we tried it. With Purina, they were 'OK' with but not hurrying to finish their bowls. Ole Roy, yuck... yep I think I see flies buzzing around the still full bowl of food. IAMS is a good product, very healthy for dogs. BUT... a friend of mine recommended the Rachael Roy brand of dog food and thought I'd give it a try We have been very happy with this dog food and it is available at walmart. don't forget to look online for coupons!

The FURminator is a GREAT deshedding tool! This FURminator is designed to gently remove undercoat and loose hair. We love this deshedding tool! We've spent many hours brushing our German Shepherds with other brands of brushes and once they come into the house it seems as if they were never brushed at all. Let's just say I've vacuumed up a lot of hair! This FURminatot brush is awesome! It's gentle and isn't harsh on the skin. We recommend buying the furminator brush for dogs that weigh 51-90lbs. Remember, you're purchasing a German Shepherd and they're going to get a lot bigger!
